Before and leading up to the Covid crisis, we always believed we could recruit successfully for ourselves. However, with the change in the economy, more jobs coming into the market, and fewer candidates for each, we struggled to find good quality candidates for a range of junior to mid-level roles. I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Merran Brown, a Partner at Reddin Group and heading their Reddin People business. Merran came out to meet us within 24 hours. She spent a couple of hours with us to understand our business, overseas relationships, structure and culture. We were so impressed that we briefed her on three roles immediately. She delivered! With a mix of quite creative advertising and some selective shoulder-tapping, Merran produced shortlists for all three roles. Her assessment and judgement were spot on, and we appointed each of her recommended candidates. I couldn’t be more delighted, and she and Reddin are now our recruitment partner of choice.

I run a business in Far North Queensland. Our products are quite technical and our customers very demanding. My focus has been on growing the business and the one thing holding me back was access to a strong talent pool.
